Louisiana High School Soccer - St. Charles Catholic knocks off Lafayette Christian Academy
January 13, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70507 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA), saw St. Charles Catholic's soccer squad triumph over Lafayette Christian Academy by a score of 8-1.
The Comets (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA). The Pelicans enter the Division III District 6 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Morris Jeff was overwhelmed by Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Knights confront the Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA) in a Division IV District 3 battle, on Thursday, January 16. Lafayette Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Opelousas (Opelousas, LA).
