George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), 61-35 in a league match.

With the victory, George Washington advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Patriots host Capital (Charleston, WV) to battle the Cougars in a Mountain State contest on Friday, January 16. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 9-2. Capital won 52-40 in their recent league contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV)

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Thursday, January 15. Riverside will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 51-44 league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
