The Hinkley Thunderbirds (Aurora, CO) basketball knocked off the visiting Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), 66-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Norsemen go into the 5A East Metro test with a 4-6 record.

The Trojans now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Eagle Ridge Academy for a 4A/3A Colorado test on Thursday, January 20. Aurora Central will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Denver West (Denver, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
