Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH) and the visiting Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), saw Elmwood's basketball squad wallop Lake by a tally of 74-50.

With the victory, Elmwood improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, OH) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Van Buren won 66-39 in their recent league challenge against Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH)

The Flyers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rossford (Rossford, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Northern Buckeye battle with a 9-3 record.
