Maryland High School Basketball - Lansdowne nips Towson
January 14, 2022: Towson, MD 21286 Lansdowne Vikings (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Towson Generals (Towson, MD), 51-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Lansdowne upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 21. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Oakland Mills lost 54-34 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD)
Next up, the Generals play the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore County 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Towson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 65-60 league loss to Overlea (Baltimore, MD).
