The Turpin Spartans basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Loveland Tigers to 31 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Milford for a Eastern Cincinnati bout on Tuesday, January 18. Turpin will play a Eagles squad coming off a 61-34 league loss to Little Miami (Morrow, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 1-9.
