Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL), 47-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Normal Community upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 15. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Neuqua Valley lost 62-54 in their recent league bout against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)
