Colorado High School Basketball - Olathe edges North Fork
January 14, 2022: Olathe, CO 81425 The Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) basketball nipped the visiting North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO), 55-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO). The Bruins go into the 2A/1A Western Slope test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Cedaredge got by Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO), 61-57, in a league test.
The Miners now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Basalt for a 3A Western Slope test on Tuesday, January 18. North Fork will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-4.
