Ohio High School Basketball - Elyria nips Midview
January 14, 2022: Grafton, OH 44044 Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Midview Middies (Grafton, OH), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Elyria upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Oberlin (Oberlin, OH) to play the The Phoenix in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 18. The The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Middies play the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 21. Midview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
