Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) and the host Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA), saw Garnet Valley's basketball squad overcome Unionville by a tally of 49-35.

With the victory, Garnet Valley improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA) to play the Fightin' Tigers in a Central challenge on Wednesday, January 19. The Fightin' Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
