Oklahoma High School Basketball - Merritt overwhelms Leedey
January 14, 2022: Leedey, OK 73654 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK) and the host Leedey Bison (Leedey, OK), saw Merritt's basketball squad wallop Leedey by a tally of 63-28.
With the victory, Merritt improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Cordell (Cordell, OK) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Bison confront the Shattuck Indians (Shattuck, OK) in a 270 West challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Leedey will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK).
