Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ridley can't hold off Springfield

January 14, 2022: Folsom, PA 19033

The Springfield Cougars basketball team scored 29 points and restricted the host Ridley Raiders to 22 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conestoga for a Central contest on Wednesday, January 19. Springfield will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 46-25 non-league win over Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-2.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Interboro was edged by Avon Grove (West Grove, PA), 37-7, in a non-league bout.
