The Antelope Valley Antelopes basketball team (Lancaster, CA), was nudged 55-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Clarita Christian for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, January 17. Vasquez will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 66-33 league win over The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-6.
