New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees fells Brearley
January 14, 2023: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) supporters were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), 61-47 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Voorhees improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ) to confront the Big Blue in a Skyland - Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Big Blue come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. The Pingry School lost 65-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ)
Next up, the Bears confront the Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Brearley will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ).
