January 14, 2023: Van Wert, OH 45891 The Van Wert Cougars (Van Wert, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH), 68-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH). The Titans go into the Western Buckeye test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Ottawa-Glandorf was trounced by Lima Senior (Lima, OH), 52-48, in a non-league test.
The Golden Bears now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a Northwest Ohio test on Friday, January 20. Bryan will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 70-38 non-league win over Leipsic (Leipsic, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 10-0.
