Ohio High School Basketball - Indian Creek tops Buckeye Local
January 14, 2023: Wintersville, OH 43953 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) and the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH), saw Indian Creek's basketball squad knock off Buckeye Local by a count of 60-50.
With the victory, Indian Creek upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Redskins host Beaver (Lisbon, OH) to play the Beavers in a Buckeye 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Beaver lost 44-32 in their recent league challenge against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH)
Next up, the Panthers play the Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH) in a Ohio Valley AA challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Buckeye Local will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 43-37 league loss to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV).
