January 14, 2023: Manchester, VT 05254 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) and the host Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), saw Champlain Valley Union's basketball squad wallop Burr & Burton by a tally of 56-21.
With the victory, Champlain Valley Union improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Colchester (Colchester, VT) to confront the Lakers in a Metro challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Mekeel Christian Academy Lions (Schenectady, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Burr & Burton will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 74-69 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Troy, NY).
