The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the host California School for the Deaf Eagles to 53 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capital City Public Charter School for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will meet a EAGLES team coming off a 78-60 league win over BASIS (Washington, DC). The EAGLES record now stands at 4-8.
The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Cougars enter the Bay Counties - General contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Contra Costa Christian ran past California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA), 76-63, in a league contest.
