Kentucky High School Basketball - Castle can't hold off Christian County
January 14, 2023: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 The Christian County Colonels basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Castle Knights to 59 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Colonels now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCracken County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Christian County will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-1.
The Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Henderson County nudged North Hardin (Radcliff, KY), 66-48, in a non-league contest.
