January 14, 2023: Marlton, NJ 08053 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the visiting Pitman Panthers (Pitman, NJ), saw Cherokee's basketball squad overcome Pitman by a tally of 48-31.
With the victory, Cherokee improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Clearview lost 47-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Deptford (Deptford, NJ)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Pitman will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 55-36 non-league win over Woodstown (Woodstown, NJ).
