New York High School Basketball - Christian Central Academy nudges City Honors
January 14, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14204 Christian Central Academy Crusaders (Williamsville, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host City Honors Centaurs (Buffalo, NY), 53-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Christian Central Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Crusaders host Gow (South Wales, NY) to clash with the Ravens in a Section 6 Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Gow lost 85-52 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY)
Next up, the Centaurs clash with the Emerson Vo-Tech Eagles (Buffalo, NY) in a Section 6 Buffalo II bout, on Tuesday, January 17. City Honors will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 62-48 league win over Riverside (Buffalo, NY).
