January 14, 2023: Dover, NJ 07801 The Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ), 62-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ). The Cougars go into the Northwest Jersey - Colonial test with a 2-4 record.
The Tigers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kinnelon for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Dover will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 10-2.
