Ohio High School Basketball - East Tech thwarts Shaw

The East Tech Scarabs (Cleveland, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Shaw Cardinals (East Cleveland, OH), 64-54 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Scarabs (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Rhodes (Cleveland, OH). The Rams go into the Senate test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Rhodes went down by Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH), 46-41, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a Lake Erie test on Friday, January 20. Shaw will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-9.
