Wisconsin High School Basketball - Edgewood fells Platteville
January 14, 2023: Platteville, WI 53818 Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI), 72-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI) to play the Eagles in a Badger - West bout on Thursday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4.
Next up, the Hillmen play the Lancaster Flying Arrows (Lancaster, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin bout, on Friday, January 20. Platteville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Flying Arrows go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 70-42 league loss to Dodgeville (Dodgeville, WI).
