January 14, 2023: Luverne, MN 56156 The Luverne Cardinals (Luverne, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 60-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN). The Huskies go into the AA Section 3 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Jackson County Central notched a victory over Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 61-56, in a league test.
The now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oldham-Ramona/Rutland for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Estelline/Hendricks will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 0-7.
