California High School Basketball - Windward nips Fairfax
January 14, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90046 Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 69-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Windward upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Francis (La Canada, CA) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 16-6. St. Francis won 64-59 in their recent league bout against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)
Next up, the Lions play the Diamond Bar Brahmas (Diamond Bar, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 74-51 league win over South Hills (West Covina, CA).
