Georgia High School Basketball - Tattnall Square Academy tipped by George Walton Academy
January 14, 2023: Monroe, GA 30655 The George Walton Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Tattnall Square Academy Trojans to 57 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. George Walton Academy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-36 non-league win over Drew (Riverdale, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-10.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers enter the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Mount de Sales Academy was nudged by Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 65-52, in a league contest.
