Oak Hill Academy - Red Warriors (Mouth of Wilson, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), 84-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oak Hill Academy - Red upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Lions in a Freelance bout on Monday, January 16. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a Virginia Independent bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
