California High School Basketball - Harker nudges Monta Vista
January 14, 2023: Cupertino, CA 95014 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Harker Eagles (San Jose, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA), by a margin of 45-44.
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights go into the West Bay outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, King's Academy got by Menlo School (Atherton, CA), 64-60, in a league outing.
The Matadors now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Willow Glen for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16. Monta Vista will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 49-17 league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA). The Rams record now stands at 5-9.
