Washington High School Basketball - Ilwaco trounces Naselle
January 14, 2023: Ilwaco, WA 98624 The Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA), 76-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Fishermen (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Raymond (Raymond, WA). The Seagulls go into the 2B Pacific test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Raymond was trounced by Ocosta (Westport, WA), 72-50, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Firm Foundation Christian for a 1B Columbia Valley battle on Tuesday, January 17. Naselle will confront a Eagles team coming off a 78-48 league loss to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
