New Jersey High School Basketball - Montclair Kimberley Academy nudges Livingston
January 14, 2023: Montclair, NJ 07042 Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ), 56-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Montclair Kimberley Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cougars host Weequahic (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Indians in a Super Essex - Freedom bout on Thursday, January 19. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Weequahic lost 57-41 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ)
Next up, the Lancers play the West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Livingston will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
