With the victory, Mahanoy Area improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Schuylkill Haven won 70-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Weatherly (Weatherly, PA)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
