January 14, 2023: Maroa, IL 61756 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) and the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL), saw St. Joseph-Ogden's basketball squad wallop Maroa-Forsyth by a count of 76-54.
With the victory, St. Joseph-Ogden upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to encounter the Hawks in a Illini Prairie test on Tuesday, January 17. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 16-1. Prairie Central won 65-49 in their recent league test against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL)
The Trojans now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Plains for a Sangamo test on Friday, January 20.
