Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) and the visiting Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ), saw Raritan's basketball squad wallop Middletown North by a tally of 59-38.

With the victory, Raritan improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ) to confront the Hornets in a Shore A - Central challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Holmdel lost 60-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ)

Next up, the Lions confront the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Middletown North will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
