Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Meridian, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Nampa Bulldogs (Nampa, ID), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Rocky Mountain upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Grizzlies host Eagle (Eagle, ID) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Friday, January 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Nampa will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Kavemen go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 51-40 league loss to Borah (Boise, ID).
