January 14, 2023: Annandale, NJ 08801 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) and the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), saw North Hunterdon's basketball squad wallop Newton by a count of 65-36.
With the victory, North Hunterdon upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Somerville (Somerville, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Somerville lost 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ)
Next up, the Braves play the Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ).
