Minnesota High School Basketball - Superior overwhelms Proctor
January 14, 2023: Proctor, MN 55810 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) and the host Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN), saw Superior's basketball squad wallop Proctor by a tally of 77-37.
With the victory, Superior improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host New Richmond (New Richmond, WI) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. New Richmond lost 61-50 in their recent league challenge against Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI)
Next up, the Rails play the Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) in a AA Section 7 challenge, on Monday, January 16. Proctor will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Agates come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 67-66 league loss to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN).
