Georgia High School Basketball - St. Francis tipped by Sequoyah

January 14, 2023: Alpharetta, GA 30004

The Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team scored 81 points and held the host St. Francis Knights to 79 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chiefs now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Ridge for a AAAAAA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Sequoyah will meet a Knights team coming off a 61-43 non-league loss to Buford (Buford, GA). The Knights record now stands at 13-6.

The Knights (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington Christian (Fairburn, GA). The enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Arlington Christian nudged Luella (Luella, GA), 60-52, in a non-league contest.
