The Pioneer Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Argos Dragons to 45 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Judson-San Pierre for a Hoosier North contest on Tuesday, January 17. Pioneer will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 55-28 non-league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Bluejays record now stands at 11-7.

The Dragons (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against LaVille (Lakeville, IN). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, LaVille prevailed over Knox (Knox, IN), 48-41, in a league contest.
