Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Heelan Catholic crushes Kuemper
January 14, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51105 Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), 66-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bishop Heelan Catholic upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA) to play the Black Raiders in a Missouri River bout on Monday, January 16. The Black Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Sioux City East won 61-56 in their recent league bout against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)
Next up, the Knights play the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Monday, January 16. Kuemper will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 57-46 league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
