Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) and the visiting Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN), saw Thornton Fractional South's basketball squad wallop Bowman Academy by a tally of 69-22.

With the victory, Thornton Fractional South improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Red Wolves host Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL) to confront the Spartans in a South Suburban - Red challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Oak Lawn lost 40-36 in their recent league challenge against Lemont (Lemont, IL)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Bowman Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
