Idaho High School Basketball - Highland ripped by Council

January 14, 2023: Council, ID 83612

The Council Lumberjacks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Highland Huskies to 20 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grangeville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Council will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-22 league win over St. Maries (St. Maries, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.

The Huskies (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Deary (Deary, ID). The Mustangs enter the 1A II White Pine contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Deary triumphed over Nezperce (Nezperce, ID), 51-38, in a league contest.
