California High School Basketball - Kearny ripped by Helix

The Helix Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Kearny Komets to 17 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Highlanders now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Miguel for a Grossmont - Hills contest on Tuesday, January 17. Helix will battle a Matadors team coming off a 60-19 non-league win over Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 10-6.

The Komets (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Crawford (San Diego, CA). The Colts enter the Central contest with a 8-12 record.
