New Jersey High School Basketball - Holmdel fells Jackson Memorial
January 14, 2023: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their basketball team notch a victory over the visiting Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ), 56-47 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) in a Shore A - Central game, on Tuesday, January 17. Holmdel will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 2-8 record after their 82-26 league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ).
With the defeat, Jackson Memorial moves to 8-5 on the year. The Jaguars host Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ) to face the Pioneers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 21. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 3-4.
