Michigan High School Basketball - Holt overwhelms Portland
January 14, 2023: Holt, MI 48842 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) and the visiting Portland Raiders (Portland, MI), saw Holt's basketball squad wallop Portland by a tally of 42-19.
With the victory, Holt improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Okemos (Okemos, MI) to confront the Wolves in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Friday, January 20. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Okemos lost 44-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Dansville (Dansville, MI)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Portland will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 61-29 league win over Okemos (Okemos, MI).
