New Jersey High School Basketball - Hunterdon Central tops Summit
January 14, 2023: Flemington, NJ 08822 Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), 41-30 in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rutgers Prep for a Skyland - Raritan battle on Tuesday, January 17. Hunterdon Central will confront a Argonauts team coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Franklin (Somerset, NJ). The Argonauts record now stands at 8-3.
The Hilltoppers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Johnson beat Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ), 42-29, in a non-league battle.
