High School Basketball - Jal overwhelms Non Varsity Opponent
January 14, 2023: , Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) and the host Non Varsity Opponent (, ), saw Jal's basketball squad wallop Non Varsity Opponent by a tally of 43-19.
With the victory, Jal improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Loving (Loving, NM) to confront the Falcons in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Loving won 47-44 in their recent non-league challenge against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)
Next up, the confront the Riverfield Country Day Ravens (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 67-109 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 26-20 non-league win over Casady (Oklahoma City, OK).
