Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central can't hold off Neuqua Valley
January 14, 2023: Naperville, IL 60564 The Neuqua Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights to 45 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amundsen for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Neuqua Valley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 63-27 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 8-11.
The Knights (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers come into the non-league contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Loyola Academy edged Minooka (Minooka, IL), 49-16, in a non-league contest.
