Alabama High School Basketball - Lee ripped by Mae Jemison
January 14, 2023: Montgomery, AL 36107 The Mae Jemison Jaguars basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Lee Generals to 22 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a 6A Area 16 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Mae Jemison will meet a Generals team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Generals record now stands at 8-17.
The Generals (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Lions enter the 7A Area 3 contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Prattville triumphed over Selma (Selma, AL), 47-29, in a non-league contest.
