Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Middlesex ripped by Mohawk Area
January 14, 2023: Bessemer, PA 16112 The Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds to 17 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Monday, January 16. Mohawk Area will battle a Panthers team coming off a 59-35 league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
The Big Reds (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The enter the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Kennedy Catholic triumphed over Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 52-27, in a non-league contest.
